The advantages of Adobe Photoshop are that it's great to use for photo editing first and foremost. You can clear up blemishes and imperfections in photos, remove and change backgrounds, and add to photos. Full banners, covers, etc. and also be done in Photoshop. The disadvantage is learning to do all of this or rather attempting to learn it. Terminology can be off putiing for the new learner.
